Manager of Account Services – Personal Lines

to help guide, mentor, and elevate our Personal Lines service team across multiple office locations. This is an opportunity to lead within one of the Midwest’s largest independent insurance agencies—where your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your leadership directly impacts the client experience.

What You’ll Do

As the manager, you’ll play a key leadership role focused on coaching, service excellence, and workflow efficiency. Your work will help uphold the elite client experience R&R is known for.

Leadership & Team Development

Support and supervise Personal Lines Account Managers, Team Leads, and Support Specialists

Provide ongoing coaching, training, mentorship, and performance feedback

Participate in hiring decisions, onboarding, and team development planning

Lead team meetings, coordinate staffing needs, and support overall department culture

Client Experience & Workflow Excellence

Monitor service workflows to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency

Serve as a resource for escalated client concerns and complex coverage questions

Support cross-selling and up-selling initiatives within the Personal Lines service team

Ensure service delivery aligns with R&R’s client-first standards

Operational & Strategic Support

Assist in developing department goals and aligning them with agency objectives

Collaborate with underwriters and carrier partners on products, updates, and service strategiesContribute to training programs and employee orientation

Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge, implementing best practices as the industry evolves

Ensure adherence to department budget guidelines

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who leads with service, develops others, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Required

Active Property & Casualty license

5+ years of insurance agency experience

or

at least two years of experience working at R&R

Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred

Advanced experience with Microsoft Office/Google Suite, plus strong familiarity with agency management systems

Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and over the phone

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and organization

A collaborative mindset and ability to build strong internal relationships

A proactive, creative approach to problem solving

A strong commitment to client service and maintaining long-term relationships

Demonstrated professional integrity and sound decision-making skills

A passion for continuous learning, both for yourself and your team
