We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to service and manage a portfolio of business clients across diverse industries. This role requires a strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities
Manage a book of commercial clients, ensuring high retention and satisfaction. Handle renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and certificates of insurance. Provide coverage recommendations and proactive risk management support. Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system. Quote new business and assist producers with proposals. Communicate with carriers on underwriting, claims, and service issues. Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive outreach. Answer telephone calls, greet clients, and prepare conference rooms for meetings. Process incoming and outgoing mail according to agency guidelines. Keep workstations, lobby, and conference areas organized and presentable. Update reports, maintain files/databases, and assist teammates as needed. Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance. Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain). Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, including General Liability, Property, Workers’ Compensation, and Commercial Autoficiency with agency management systems and carrier portals. Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Competitive salary based on experience.
