About The Team

Enablement: supports our teams to do their best work through employee training, communications, and knowledge management

Systems Strategy: supercharges workflow by leveraging technology and collaborating with Vendor and Product teams

Strategy & Planning: steers the organization toward growth through quarterly / annual planning, account strategy, performance management, and operational strategy initiatives

Compliance Programs: leverages systems, technology, and data to support compliance teams and processes

Business Operations & Strategy: identifies and executes top‑line growth and bottom‑line optimization initiatives

About The Role As a Principal, Business Operations and Strategy, you will report to the Senior Director of Content Operations Strategy & Enablement and lead high‑impact initiatives across the Expert Insights organization. You will own the strategic initiative roadmap, identifying, prioritizing, and executing the projects that matter most. You will serve as a key business partner to Operations Leadership, driving medium and long‑term priorities and ensuring cross‑functional alignment across Revenue, Product, Finance, Enablement, and Operations. Your work will span growth opportunities, strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and new product exploration, helping the organization scale efficiently while unlocking new avenues for customer and content production expansion.

Who You Are

7+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or a high‑growth startup

Experience operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments with a blend of strategy and execution

Advanced Excel + SQL proficiency

Familiarity with modern BI tools (Tableau, Looker, PBI)

Ability to quantify impact and build ROI cases for initiatives

Self‑directed problem solver with strong first‑principles and design thinking mindset

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, make clear decisions, and deliver results in fast‑paced environments

Skilled in process mapping and scalable system design; Lean Six Sigma experience a plus

Strong communicator who influences across levels and presents effectively to executives

Brings stakeholders along efficiently, creating clarity without over‑indexing on consensus

Balances strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and a high bar for quality

Intellectually curious, adaptable, and collaborative; thrives in ambiguity and moves fast with precision

What You’ll Do Strategic Initiatives

Lead 1 to 3 high‑impact cross‑functional projects each quarter

Translate ambiguous problems into structured plans with clear success metrics

Align stakeholders across Ops, Revenue, Product, Finance, and Enablement

Stand up new processes or capabilities and transition them to long‑term owners

Growth

Identify and evaluate new service offerings, customer segments, and partnership opportunities

Analyze market, customer, and performance data to uncover growth levers

Build business cases and run pilots to test and scale new initiatives

Track growth metrics and incorporate learnings into future plans

Operational Improvement

Diagnose workflow bottlenecks and design scalable, efficient processes

Implement operational enhancements and drive adoption across teams

Lead root‑cause analyses and establish repeatable, reliable processes

Roadmapping & Prioritization

Maintain and communicate a prioritized initiative roadmap

Assess opportunities based on impact, feasibility, and alignment to goals

Provide regular updates and trade‑off recommendations to leadership

Adjust priorities as business needs and insights evolve

Compensation & Benefits For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and may vary from the amounts listed below.

You may also be offered a performance‑based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.

Base Compensation Range: $150,000 — $167,000 USD.
