Commercial Real Estate Property Accountant

Commercial Real Estate Property Accountant - Atlanta, GA Our growing client has a need for a Senior Property Accountant with Commercial Property experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and distribute monthly financial and job cost reporting for various projects and partnerships

Review lease input, billing adjustments, and monthly tenant billings

Review of annual and/or quarterly CAM, CPI, Real Estate Tax and Insurance billings

Review Percentage‑rent sales calculations

Assist in reconciling tenant balances and handle tenant-billing questions

Maintain depreciation and amortization schedules annually and /or quarterly

Assist with external audits and budget preparation

Review FASB13 rental adjustments and maintain information in MRI

Prepare monthly bank statement and balance sheet reconciliations

Prepare and enter monthly journal entries

Review payables for coding and review check‑selection report for payments

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Commercial real estate experience preferred

Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business‑related field or equivalent work experience

Excel and MRI experience preferred (pivots, lookups a plus)

Must demonstrate problem solving abilities

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritize work and work under deadlines

Detailed oriented and possess good organizational skills
