Provide proactive patient support and coordinate care delivery for patients with amputations and limb differences Assist patients and families with information, resources, and emotional support throughout the treatment process Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and healthcare providers to enhance patient care Ensure timely follow-up communications and appointments for optimal patient experience and continuity of care Act as a liaison between patients and various clinic areas to facilitate pre-operative and post-operative planning What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a patient care environment BA/BS in a health-related field or equivalent work experience Ability to be credentialed in major hospital systems Strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment, including handling confidential data discreetly Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets the employer’s safety policy standards How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Certifications such as ATC, EMT, MA, Surgical Tech, LVN, PTA, Physician Extenders, OTA, or Social Work Experience in healthcare facility administrative support functions such as insurance processing or patient care coordination Familiarity with medical reimbursement and terminology Experience working directly with healthcare professionals including physicians and therapists Proficiency with SharePoint and CRM systems
