The Business Development/Technical Sales Professional is directly responsible for helping the company increase sales volume of high‑end products and civil engineering solutions by identifying and developing new opportunities in domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate will develop a complete understanding of PDI products, provide technical support, and explain features and benefits to influencers and decision makers at a high level during early design stages. The role collaborates with executives and senior engineers to penetrate the industry and promote our technologies to the right audiences. Position Responsibilities

Identify leads and sales opportunities, research and develop them, and move them through the sales cycle. Develop relationships with influencers and decision makers to expand company audiences. Research potential new venues for product sales and create awareness of our methods and solutions in early design stages of civil engineering projects. Research codes and specifications within territories, identify code and spec writers, and build awareness of our engineering solutions. Form strategic partnerships to open new markets and develop relationships at a high level with specifiers, government officials, designers of design‑build companies, and other industry players. Conduct technical presentations of our technologies alone or with an engineer, depending on the required depth. Support PDI representatives worldwide to help meet sales goals and develop opportunities. Attend conferences as needed. This position requires a significant amount of travel both domestically and internationally. Level of Supervision

Proactive interaction with the President, Director of Global Sales, other Executives, sales team members, administrative staff, and related support departments to ensure on‑time needs are met or exceeded. Reports to the Director of Global Sales. Required Qualifications / Education

Four‑year college degree (technical degree preferred: civil, mechanical, electrical, or other engineering/technical degree). Strong presentation skills, interpersonal and communication skills. Working knowledge of standard PC software (Microsoft Office applications). Must be self‑motivated, have a driven character, strong time management skills, and willing to travel as necessary. This is a permanent, full‑time, salaried position with an annual bonus component.
