Education
Seminary or graduate education in pastoral ministry or related field
Bible and Theological degree at an undergraduate level is desired.
Currently credentialed, or willing to become credentialed by the CMA.
Family
If married, Lead Pastor’s wife is willing to participate in church life; she is free to use her gifts and abilities as she believes God is leading her, whether within or outside the local church
Wife and family feel comfortable embracing small-town living.
Pastoral Experience
5-10 years of experience as a lead or associate pastor preferred.
A demonstrated commitment to the spiritual growth and health of the local church
Ministry Strengths
Biblical Preaching and Teaching Preaches the gospel, God’s Word, straight from the Bible, not watered down. Clearly communicates God’s Word with accuracy, depth, and relevance, helping people apply Scripture to their everyday life. Holds a firm belief in biblical authority and inerrancy.
Discipleship and Spiritual Formation Equips and encourages believers to grow in their relationship with Christ through mentoring, small groups, and Bible studies.
Pastoral Care and Counseling Provides compassionate care and wise counsel to individuals and families during times of need, grief, or spiritual growth.
Visionary Leadership Leads with a clear, Spirit-led vision for the church’s mission and future, inspiring others to serve and grow in faith.
Salary: Commensurate with experience and education
Vacation: 4 weeks paid time off
