Neuroscience Sales Representative – Des Moines, IA Amplity, a Johnson & Johnson company focused on neuroscience therapeutics, is seeking a dedicated Neuroscience Sales Representative to drive sales and expand market penetration in the Des Moines area.

Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within your assigned territory, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and effectively communicating the value of our products. You will develop local strategic and tactical plans, manage budgets, and provide accurate reporting on activities.

Job Responsibilities

Follow compliance guidelines to ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded by contacting primary care HCP offices and selected PC targets both in-person and virtually.

Develop superior product and disease-state knowledge and educate HCPs on clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy and safety profiles to support on-label prescribing.

Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions based on customer needs.

Operate independently with sales proficiency to drive performance and meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.

Maintain current understanding of local market and share insights with internal stakeholders.

Provide input into resource allocation decisions and select programs/resources appropriate for each customer.

Deliver special education to providers through programs that meet ethical guidelines.

Collaborate with the District Manager and stakeholders to develop a local business plan aligned with corporate strategy.

Share best practices with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists.

Manage administrative tasks: work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication, sample, and expense reporting.

Complete all company and job-related training within required timelines.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record.

1+ year documented success in B2B sales; experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales preferred.

Experience in antipsychotic, bipolar, or neuroscience sales is a plus.

Strong passion for improving patient and caregiver outcomes with a patient-centric mindset.

High integrity and adherence to company compliance policies.

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, with strong decision-making and collaboration skills.

Track record of adapting to evolving environments, including virtual/telemedicine settings.

Analytical skills to assess progress against objectives and identify opportunities.

Excellent verbal, presentation, and listening skills.

Ability to establish new customer relationships and communicate technical information.

Availability for meetings outside normal working hours, some overnight travel, and occasional domestic travel.

Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
