Summary
Associate Director, Accounting & Internal Reporting role is responsible for supporting general accounting, monthly financial close process and ensuring Company’s internal controls / related processes are adhered to. Additional focus on SEC filings, audit requests, internal controls, internal reporting and ad hoc support to the CFO, month end close, etc.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial consolidation and manage financial close process
Assist with the development, implementation, and documentation of internal controls
Assist senior Accounting & Finance professionals in monitoring Company’s cash balances and liquidity requirements
Oversee revenue & accounts receivable transactions
Review / Approve balance sheet reconciliations
Reviews / Assess SAP modules
Train / Develop Accounting staff
Prepare / Provide schedules to external Auditors during interim reviews and year-end audits
Assist with SEC filings and ad hoc reporting requirements
Partner with Finance team to lead month-end close
Qualifications
CPA LICENSE REQUIRED
Bachelors in Accounting required (Master’s degree a plus)
Requires 5+ years of professional related work experience (accounting management)
Experience in manufacturing preferred (not required)
Requires proficiency in Finance and office applications (SAP or other Tier I ERP applications, Excel, Word)
Must be financial/detail oriented and possess excellent analytical abilities and be customer oriented
Must possess excellent communication skills
