Support individuals in achieving their personal goals with a “person-centered” focus. Teach independent living and daily skills by identifying and meeting social, environmental, and health care needs (e.g., daily grooming and personal care). Actively plan, coordinate, and participate with residents in social activities, including frequent community outings. Instruct, support, and participate in performing household tasks with persons served (e.g., cleaning, preparing meals, food shopping). Qualifications
Earned High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Valid Driver's License Able to communicate effectively with the individuals served Experience in a residential setting serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or other special needs (rehabilitation settings, nursing homes, psychiatric hospitals, behavioral health settings, etc.) Why You’ll Love Ardmore
