and help mobilize community residents to expand financial support for low‑ and moderate‑income neighborhood projects in McKeesport, PA.
Responsibilities
Work to improve overall communication with community residents.
Significantly enhance outreach efforts; motivate and involve citizens.
Research government, private, and public agencies for resources to expand housing construction/renovation development.
Strengthen and build upon partnerships with entities that support TCR’s goals, including Greening & Urban Farming initiatives.
Member Duties & Qualifications Committed to transforming distressed neighborhood challenges into positive opportunities, the VISTA must possess:
Excellent research, organizational, and communication skills (oral & written).
Understanding of government programs and community economic factors.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
Google Mapping skills a plus.
Experience in organizational management and program development a plus.
