Director of Maintenance & Engineering Services

We’re seeking a results-driven Director of Maintenance & Engineering Services to lead a high-performing Filtration organization in a large‑scale manufacturing operation. This is a strategic, hands‑on leadership role responsible for driving reliability, safety, and efficiency across all plant equipment and infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
Lead, coach, and develop the Maintenance team (Maintenance Manager, Supervisor, and ~16 Technicians).
Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance operations, preventive maintenance programs, and capital improvement initiatives.
Manage and execute multi‑million‑dollar
CapEx projects , including new equipment relocation, facility upgrades, and plant layout changes.
Develop strategic maintenance and engineering plans that support growth, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with
environmental, health and safety regulations
and promote a strong safety‑first culture.
Own maintenance budgets, forecasting, and cost‑containment strategies.
Standardize maintenance processes, documentation, and CMMS utilization to improve uptime and reliability.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to implement process improvements and drive measurable results in efficiency, quality, and equipment performance.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar relevant degree .
10+ years
of progressive leadership in Maintenance and Manufacturing environments.
Proven success managing
large‑scale capital projects
from concept to completion.
Strong knowledge of
CMMS systems, preventive maintenance, and reliability best practices .
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills — process‑oriented and hands‑on.
Working knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, and interpreting engineering drawings a plus.
