NFP, an Aon company . This independent contributor role focuses on acquiring and growing relationships with brokers, producer groups, and national accounts across Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. The position is fully remote with 40% travel required.
Summary The Regional Sales Director will drive growth in a high-performing territory, implement key account strategies, develop broker relationships, and ensure account status reporting. The role supports a competitive base salary of $60,000–$75,000 plus commission, with top performers earning $250,000+ annually.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Implement key account strategies and processes with all accounts, including gold sheet, action plan, and strategic marketing plan.
Develop existing broker/account relationships and manage recruiting for new broker/accounts.
Regularly communicate the status of your accounts to the DBS team, keeping them informed of pertinent issues, especially during the onboarding process.
Continue development of industry, concept, carrier, and product knowledge.
Contribute to the overall success and profitability of the agency.
Meet or exceed acquired and assigned account production goals.
Education And Experience
Past sales and relationship management experience in the life insurance industry required.
FINRA: Series 6 or 7, or 63 is required.
College degree or other higher education preferred.
Life and Health License preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Leadership, organizational, people, and team orientation skills.
Ability to travel within the assigned region (approximately 50%).
Management of budgets and strong written and oral communication.
Planning and prioritization skills, with a high focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Salesforce (or similar CRM), and Concur (or related expense management).
Flexibility, ability to react to change, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to learn new business/communications systems quickly.
