What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire a
Director of Strategic Sales
within our Corporate Payments division for our Iowa market. As a
Director of Strategic Sales , you will act as a hunter, focused on prospecting and closing B2B clients. Sales efforts will include cold-calling, warm leads from our inside sales team, webinars, trade shows, relationship selling, and outbound efforts. You will build strong relationships with prospects, clients, and channel partners to gain testimonials and referrals. This role requires knowledge of sophisticated financial services and products, with the ability to present complex products clearly and simply.
How We Work As a Director of Strategic Sales, you will work remotely. Corpay provides:
Company-issued equipment and remote access
Formal training
Monthly home internet stipend
Role Responsibilities
Prioritize, call, meet, propose, and close new deals to meet sales targets
Use Salesforce to track and optimize activities
Attend trade shows, conduct webinars, and lead thought leadership activities
Study market trends to identify new segments and adapt strategies
Create marketing collateral with the Marketing team for sales calls
Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or GED
6+ years in B2B sales
Persistence, confidence, cold calling skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Organized, able to prioritize
Ability to understand and simplify complex financial products
Experience in sales proposals, meetings, follow-up
Negotiation skills
Experience in selling financial products
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
SaaS experience is a plus
