Job Description: Director, Engineering - Electric Utility
The Director, Engineering - Electrical Utility is responsible for the overall engineering and maintenance of the electrical utility's assets. This includes the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of transmission and distribution systems, substations, and other electrical infrastructure. The Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing engineering plans and strategies, managing engineering projects, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Responsibilities: Oversee the engineering and maintenance of the electrical utility's assets Develop and implement engineering plans and strategies Manage engineering projects Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations Represent the electrical utility to external stakeholders Provide technical leadership and direction to the engineering team Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers Monitor and analyze industry trends Stay abreast of new technologies and innovations Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field 10+ years of experience in the electrical utility industry Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in engineering software and tools A valid driver's license To apply for this position, please send your resume and cover letter to
