They are headquartered in Nassau County, Long Island, New York.
They are seeking a
Senior Manager of E-commerce, DTC
to own, scale, and optimize their digital channels and marketplaces. This role is pivotal to their continued growth, requiring a blend of strategic vision and hands‑on operational excellence. NOTE: This opportunity will be four (4) days onsite, one (1) day remote located at the company's state‑of‑the‑art headquarters in Port Washington, Long Island, NY which has free employee shuttle access to/from the Long Island Rail Road station and the company's HQ campus, as well as an onsite fitness center and free lunch/dinner in their cafeteria. This is NOT a remote role. Role Overview
The Senior Manager, DTC & E-commerce will have full ownership of the brand's direct digital revenue channels, including the e‑commerce website, marketplaces and emerging social commerce platforms. You will be responsible for defining the growth roadmap, optimizing the entire customer journey, and leading a cross‑functional team to achieve ambitious revenue and profitability targets. Key Responsibilities
DTC Strategy:
Develop and execute the comprehensive e‑commerce and DTC growth strategy, aligning with company financial goals, marketing calendars, and product launch plans. Financial Management:
Own the DTC P&L, including sales forecasting, budget management, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Revenue, Conversion Rate (CR), Average Order Value (AOV), and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV). Emerging Channels:
Identify, test, and scale new digital retail opportunities and social commerce platforms (e.g., TikTok Shop) to expand the brand's direct footprint. Site Management & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
Platform Leadership:
Oversee the day‑to‑day operations and optimization of the e‑commerce platform (e.g., Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud), ensuring site stability, speed, and a best‑in‑class user experience (UX) across desktop and mobile. Merchandising & Content:
Lead the site merchandising strategy, ensuring optimal product placement, compelling storytelling, and flawless execution of promotional and launch calendars. CRO & Testing:
Drive a robust A/B testing and personalization roadmap to continuously improve conversion rates, leading UX/UI projects based on quantitative and qualitative data (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, heatmaps). Customer Acquisition & Retention
Cross‑Channel Alignment:
Collaborate closely with the Paid Media, CRM, and Brand Marketing teams to ensure cohesive execution and performance alignment across all acquisition and retention channels (Paid Search, Social Ads, Email/SMS, Loyalty Programs). Retention Marketing:
Deeply understand the customer lifecycle and drive strategies for customer segmentation, loyalty programs, and subscription models to maximize repeat purchase rate and CLV. Data‑Driven Insights:
Champion a data‑first approach, providing rigorous analysis, weekly/monthly performance reporting, and actionable insights to senior leadership. Project Management:
Oversee site development, third‑party vendor integrations (e.g., ERP, fulfillment, subscription apps), and agency partners, managing timelines and budgets to ensure seamless execution. Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of
7‑10 years
of progressive experience in E‑commerce Marketplaces, Digital Marketing, or DTC management, with a minimum of 3 years in a management/leadership role. Industry Focus:
Proven track record of success scaling an e‑commerce business in the Cosmetics, Beauty, Skincare, or high‑growth CPG sectors is required. Technical Proficiency:
High proficiency with leading e‑commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, SFCC) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4). Ecosystem Expertise:
Deep understanding and experience with core DTC systems, including CRM/Email Marketing (Klaviyo, Attentive), CRO tools, and inventory management workflows. Leadership:
Strong ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams (Operations, Finance, Creative) and external agency partners. Education:
