Summary
The Counter Sales Representative is customer facing, hands on customer service and requires prompt, courteous service & some electrical product knowledge. Rexel will provide training to ensure employee growth, our employees and customers are important to us. Rexel strives to provide excellent customer service. Our CSR’s work with the branch team in all aspects of receiving, shipping, and stocking inventory.
What You’ll Do
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders.
Focus on sales @ our counter, coordinate delivery business and building customer relationships.
Assist with daily restocking, and keeping branch, counter area clean and organized.
Assist with warehouse functions as required, including inventory, receiving, shipping, stocking, and coordinating daily & midnight deliveries.
Stay informed and educated on product knowledge – Rexel provided.
Inform manager of any potentially hazardous or elevated situation pertaining to safety or the satisfaction of a customer.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Electrical distribution experience preferred.
High School or GED - Required.
Some electrical product knowledge and experience, preferred, but Rexel will train.
Demonstrated knowledge including reading, writing and communication skills required.
Minimum computer skills & phone skills are necessary.
Good team player.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Ability to type on a computer keyboard.
Must have a great attitude, be punctual & consistent attendance required.
Desire to grow with Rexel & gain electrical sales/product knowledge.
