This role requires onsite days on our Lincoln, RI corporate campus.

Position Summary: As a Senior Product Owner within Amica’s Enterprise Data Services team, you will lead the development and delivery of data products that empower financial, operational, and analytical decision‑making across the organization. This role requires a strong product mindset, deep understanding of data strategy, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, user‑centric data solutions.

Responsibilities:

Define and communicate a clear vision for data products aligned with Amica’s enterprise data strategy.

Develop and maintain a roadmap that prioritizes initiatives based on business value and analytical impact.

Partner with business units to identify opportunities for data products that support financial, operational, and modeling efforts.

Ensure data products adhere to governance, compliance, and security standards.

Write and refine user stories, manage backlog, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high‑quality data products.

Apply agile methodologies to iterate and improve products based on user feedback and performance metrics.

Act as the voice of the user, ensuring data products meet usability and accessibility needs.

Align priorities across business and technology teams, remove roadblocks, and manage expectations.

Define and track KPIs to measure product success and adoption.

Drive continuous improvement through data‑driven insights and user feedback.

Promote data literacy across the organization through training and communication.

Advocate for best practices in data usage and product adoption.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field; master’s preferred.

7+ years of experience in product management, data strategy, or related roles.

Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies, tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and product management practices.

Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and analytics.

Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to lead cross‑functional teams.

Strong facilitation skills to lead workshops, stakeholder sessions, and cross‑functional meetings, ensuring alignment and effective decision‑making.

Ability to understand high level technical diagrams and the movement of data from source to target to engage in sprint planning and solution discussions.

Experience with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Collibra) and BI tools (e.g., MicroStrategy).

Familiarity with data compliance and security standards.
