A well-established, community-focused bank in their search for a "Fair Lending Compliance Officer" for a full-time, in-office role located in Mantua, NJ. This is a critical role responsible for leading the bank’s Fair Lending Compliance efforts and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements. Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Lead and manage the bank’s Fair Lending Compliance Program, ensuring it is risk-based and tailored to the institution’s size and complexity. Collaborate with senior management to assess and mitigate Fair Lending risk across the organization. Develop and implement annual compliance plans and monitoring schedules. Conduct regular reviews of underwriting, pricing, marketing practices, redlining, and exceptions; ensure proper documentation and remediation. Prepare detailed reports and quarterly updates for the Board of Directors. Coordinate with the CRA Officer and other internal stakeholders to support lending risk initiatives. Oversee Fair Lending training programs for employees, management, and the Board. Support internal audits and regulatory examinations, including preparation, response, and follow-up. Maintain and update Fair Lending policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory changes. Evaluate the compliance impact of new or modified lending products, services, marketing strategies, and third-party partnerships. Stay informed of changes to Fair Lending regulations (ECOA, FHA, etc.) and ensure timely implementation across relevant departments.
