Assembly Technician
We are seeking a motivated Assembly Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position on the 1st shift, work 4 x 10 hour days Monday to Thursday. Perform various assembly tasks using machines and hand tools to complete the assembly and sub-assembly of component parts. Responsibilities: Work according to work orders to set up fixtures and build units. Use calipers to measure. Assemble sub-assemblies. Perform quality checks and pack finished product into shipping containers. Test units. Maintain production, downtime, quality, and maintenance records. Ensure all quality standards are met through visual inspection and measuring devices. Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly. Perform necessary computer transactions in various applications. Essential Skills: Mechanically inclined with at least 2 years of hands-on experience. Proficient with hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail. Computer literacy. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Basic arithmetic skills. Hand dexterity and ability to work with both hands. Safety conscientious and willing to cross-train. Direct manufacturing assembly experience is a plus. Work Environment: Work in a manufacturing facility that is climate-controlled and clean facility. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
