Packaging Operator
This position involves working in various functions within the Vitamins Manufacturing System (VMS) area. You will be responsible for stacking, sorting, and distributing bulk products and materials, as well as hand palletizing, sorting products, setting up and operating packaging equipment, and managing raw materials such as bottles, caps, and corrugates. Responsibilities: Manually sort and de-clump bulk products before the packaging process, removing critical defects such as deformities, discoloration, and incorrect sizes. Supply hoppers with necessary raw materials, including bottles and caps. Perform or verify daily operator quality checks as required by the batch record. Manually package and load/unload products on the packaging line as needed. Assist in line clearance, cleaning, and sanitization procedures. Essential Skills: Experience in packaging, inspection, and production processes. Proficient in pick/pack inventory management. Ability to perform tasks related to inspection, packing, labeling, food production, and filling. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. At least one year of work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
