Shipping & Receiving Technician
Oakhouse Bakery, Madison, WI.
Base pay range $19.00/hr – $21.00/hr
General Function Support Bakery operations by maintaining the loading dock and freezers in a sanitary and temperature‑appropriate condition. Fill daily frozen orders, put away products in freezers and storage areas, and wrap skids.
Responsibilities
Load & unload trucks
Conduct trailer inspections
Complete required paperwork
Complete assigned sanitation tasks
Ensure safe, quality food
Verify contents of shipment against original order and invoice
Accurate completion of daily and intermittent paperwork
Maintain charge on forklift
Qualifications
Willingness to comply with GMPs and food safety requirements
Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions to specifications
Ability to accurately fill out required Shipping & Receiving paperwork
Ability to move and lift objects up to 75 lbs.
Ability to wear required uniforms & PPE
Ability to climb, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions
Ability to work in temperature extremes and stand for a 12‑hour shift
Ability to operate powered lift trucks
Maintain a steady work pace

Required Certifications & Experience
Forklift licensed
Deburring experience
