Key Responsibilities Kitchen Operations
Oversee assigned meals following menu schedule
Ensure food is prepared and served at scheduled times
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order
Comply with OSHA and food service standards
Enforce personal hygiene and appropriate attire requirements
Supervision & Training
Supervise kitchen helpers during Chef's absence
Train and oversee beneficiaries in kitchen duties
Ensure compliance with food safety protocols
Fill in for Resident Manager as needed (evening/overnight shift)
Facility Management
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
Monitor food safety and storage standards
Assist with inventory management
Support overall kitchen operations
Qualifications Education & Experience
High school or equivalent required
Graduate of accredited food service program preferred
months institutional cooking experience preferred
Skills & Abilities
Strong communication skills in English
Basic computer proficiency
Basic math skills
Manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to follow food safety protocols
