Peer Support Specialist Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of programs throughout Arizona, including residential, outpatient, inpatient, medication‑assisted treatment, and crisis services for individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

Job Summary The Peer Support Specialists (PSS) assigned to PCMH/OTP Community‑Based Services will provide one‑on‑one support and problem‑solving, utilizing assertive engagement, harm reduction, and peer support best practices. The role promotes a safe and inclusive recovery environment and embraces the recovery philosophy.

Education and Experience Required

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in the behavioral health and/or substance abuse field required.

Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required.

Current AZ Driver's License (valid and in good standing).

Clear 39‑month motor vehicle record.

Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) or ability to obtain a CPSS certification within 90 days (3 months) of hire.

Addiction and substance use disorder certification preferred.
