Job Summary The Peer Support Specialists (PSS) assigned to PCMH/OTP Community‑Based Services will provide one‑on‑one support, addressing daily problem‑solving and facilitating clients’ normalization and reintegration into the community. PSS will use best practices of assertive engagement, harm reduction, and peer support to engage members, promote a safe, inclusive recovery environment, and embrace the recovery philosophy.
Skills / Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders.
Current AZ driver’s license (valid and in good standing).
Clear 39‑month motor vehicle record.
Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) or ability to obtain CPSS certification within 90 days of hire.
Addiction and Substance Use Disorders certification preferred.
Must have a fingerprint card.
