What You’ll Do:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial electrical projects.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure competitive bids.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to determine scope and pricing.
Review project plans and specifications to determine scope, materials, and labor requirements.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material take‑offs and labor calculations.
Analyze bids and proposals to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies.
Utilize estimating software to produce accurate and timely estimates.
Track and update cost databases to reflect current market pricing.
Attend pre‑bid meetings and site visits to gather essential project details.
Provide value‑engineering suggestions to optimize cost without compromising quality.
Assist in negotiating contracts and support the handover to the project delivery team.

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industry standards.
Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills.
