A respected mid‑size law firm with offices in New York and New Jersey is seeking an experienced
Capital Markets Attorney
to join its growing corporate practice. This is a
fully remote position , offering the opportunity to work on sophisticated securities and financing transactions while collaborating with a talented, business‑focused legal team.
About the Firm The firm represents a diverse range of clients, including emerging growth companies, established private and public corporations, underwriters, and investors across various industries. The team is known for providing practical, strategic counsel and maintaining long‑term client relationships built on trust and results.
Responsibilities
Advise issuers, underwriters, and investors on equity and debt offerings, including private placements and public offerings.
Draft and review offering documents, disclosure materials, SEC filings, and related agreements.
Counsel clients on securities law compliance, corporate governance, and reporting obligations under the Securities Act and Exchange Act.
Support clients in connection with capital raising, financing transactions, and general corporate matters.
Collaborate with the firm’s corporate and M&A attorneys on complex business and financing transactions.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Admission to practice in
New York and/or New Jersey
required.
4+ years of capital markets or securities law experience
at a law firm or in‑house legal department.
Strong working knowledge of federal securities laws and SEC reporting requirements.
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a remote setting.
Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $200,000 - $300,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
