Your Day at Lowe's Pro Sales Specialists actively move throughout the store or garden center, answer phones, and converse with Pro customers, discussing project needs and solving business challenges.
You will spend most of your time communicating with our Pro customers to ensure their needs are met before they leave the store.
Key Responsibilities
Understand the Pro business and customer needs; locate, demonstrate, select, quote, and order merchandise.
Use Lowe's Pro Supply to order products through the Fulfillment and Delivery network to service the customer.
Communicate service, brand, and value benefits of using the Fulfillment and Delivery network.
Utilize CRM to build customer relationships, streamline processes, and increase sales and visibility of Pro Supply services.
Promote MVPs Pro rewards, partnership program, Pro Credit solutions, and Pro wallet.
Provide information on stock, special orders, features, applications, and warranty related to Lowe's programs.
Cross‑train in other store areas to provide excellent customer service and learn what Pros are buying across the store.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years sales experience with ability to identify and sell products based on customer needs.
1–2 years customer service experience, resolving issues, locating products, answering phones, building relationships, and thanking customers.
Physical ability to sit, bend, stand, move, and lift up to 25 lb. unassisted.
Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
Comfortable using retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
Obtain required sales licensure or registration if required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
1–2 years experience in a sales or customer‑service environment with sales goals or metrics.
Experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including special sales orders.
Professional certification related to the department.
Bi‑lingual skills.
Travel Requirements This role does not require regular travel; occasional travel to meetings, training, or support neighboring stores may be needed.
Working Conditions Roles may involve indoor and outdoor environments, varying climates, noise, and the need to lift items. Associates follow guidelines to limit single lifts to 75 lb., and may use powered equipment with proper training.
