Activity Assistant Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implementation of individual and group activities.
Provide activities for those with special needs (i.e., depressed, terminally ill, bedridden).
Encourage participation and involvement of all residents.
Prepare for and participate in resident care conferences.
Prepare sites and materials for activities.
Requirements Activity Assistant Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR and First Aid certified or willingness to become certified.
Prior experience with elderly patients preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
