TANDEM PSYCHOLOGY
seeks a remote or hybrid, full-time, relationship/couples psychotherapist to join an ever-growing team! Our practice prides itself in maintaining a high client success rate and a strong commitment to diversity, especially the unique needs of queer and LGBT clients.
Specifically, we are looking for therapists who love doing couples/relationship work, have training and real clinical experience treating relationship concerns, and want to build a couples/relationship-focused caseload in a supportive, collaborative group practice.
Job Responsibilities
Provide outpatient relationship/couples psychotherapy as well as intake assessments
Hold nuance, work with conflict and repair, and help partners build new patterns
Demonstrate cultural humility and competence in working with LGBT people and relationships
Conscientious and timely clinical documentation
Opportunities to engage in clinical training for other clinicians and psychological testing are available
Desired Qualifications
Licensed in the state of Illinois with one of the following licenses: LMFT, AMFT, LCSW, LSW, LCPC, LPC, Psy.D, PHD (post-doctoral psychologists are welcome to apply)
Formal couples therapy training (EFT, Gottman, relational psychodynamic, IFS-informed, sex therapy, etc.)
Experience working with queer and LGBTQ relationships
Strong generalist clinical judgment alongside relationship specialization.
Ability to work independently and with a team
Compensation Competitive pay and benefits including medical insurance, retirement account, and paid leave. Supervision provided, if needed. Fully licensed therapists can earn upwards of $150,000.
Job Hours The successful candidate will work full-time and will have the opportunity to set their own schedule with some hours outside of the 9-5 workday expected. Start date is negotiable depending on the circumstances and needs of practice and candidates.
