What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Cultivate relationships with donors, alumni, friends, and family of the university through telephone and digital interactions
Secure gifts and provide stewardship and relationship building in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin Foundation
Collaborate with the Manager of the Student Engagement Specialists and floor managers to execute fundraising strategy
Maintain knowledge of the university’s philanthropic priorities to effectively present cases for support
Utilize the university's constituent database to manage donors, constituents, alumni, and volunteers
What is Required (Qualifications):
Ability to work a combination of evening and weekend shifts
Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, preferably the University of Wisconsin
Proven interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, including written and verbal
Ability to manage relationships with colleagues, constituents, and alumni to achieve specific goals
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related CRM experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Demonstrated capacity to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding university data
Ability to provide own transportation to the work location at 701 State Street, Madison, WI
