Job Summary The Parts Specialist Counter will be responsible for excellent customer service. Extending optimal customer care and concern is a priority. This position will require completing tasks at the parts counter, including receiving part calls, greeting and assisting walk-in customers, processing all paperwork accurately, and handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions. The employee will also perform related warehouse duties, including accurate counting, receiving and shipping parts, receiving stock, accounting for warranty items, and building hoses. This person is expected to perform all necessary tasks related to contamination control and to prioritize safety strongly.

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

At least one year of warehouse and inventory experience, some of which should have been in a mechanical parts environment.

Knowledge and experience with CAT heavy equipment and diesel engine parts are preferred.

Physical Requirements Lifting/carrying 40 lbs. The job involves lifting/carrying and 50 lb pulling, standing, sitting, climbing into machines, and repetitive motions requiring use of hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
