About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity for a Junior Leasing Agent to join the dynamic leasing team at a portfolio of buildings in New York City. The ideal candidate has worked on‑site or as a licensed real estate agent in New York City. If they are not currently licensed, they will have 90 days to receive the licensure. Communication, customer service, presentation skills, and follow‑up skills are crucial for success in this role. There is a tremendous opportunity for advancement in this role; strong agents will be on a career trajectory toward Senior roles including Leasing Agent and Leasing Management. This role will be based work across multiple luxury rental properties in NYC. The Junior Leasing Agent will serve as a key representative of ownership, building value for our residents and communities while delivering an exceptional leasing experience. This role is great for someone transitioning from residential brokerage or moving in to leasing from a market outside of NYC.

Role and Responsibilities
Greet, qualify, and tour prospective residents, highlighting the value and unique features of each property.
Guide applicants through the leasing process, including applications, approvals, and lease signings.
Prepare and process lease packages and related documents with accuracy and efficiency.
Administer lease renewals and maintain optimal renewal rates.
Track and analyze traffic sources to maximize marketing effectiveness.
Conduct regular inspections of vacant units and common areas.
Address resident inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.
Collaborate with the leasing team to deliver outstanding customer service.
Research and prepare monthly competitive market reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
NYS Real Estate Salesperson’s License (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
1–2 years of prior leasing experience required, especially in the NYC market.
Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws, HSTPA-2019, Good Cause Eviction, and the Fare Act.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with Yardi, On‑Site, Building Link, and Nestio preferred.
Ability to work at least one weekend day per week.
Familiarity with Hudson Yards neighborhood is a plus.
Base salary plus commission and benefits, commensurate upon experience.
Compensation $50,000 - $55,000 base plus commissions - expected earnings can range from $65,000 - $75,000 to start. Outstanding benefits package (full health coverage with minimal employee contribution). 401K with company match. FSA/HSA/Commuter Benefits.
