Position Summary
Be a Team Member – Collaborates with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educates other associates on tools, tasks, resources, mentors new technicians, and develops interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service; Be an Expert – Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, and operates point of sale systems and sales techniques; Be a Techie – Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve service experience and elevate engagement using handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions about services, safety alerts, new product information, product application and training; Be an Owner – Communicates equipment, tools and supplies needs, leads tracking and monitoring returns and special orders, operates cash registers, processes transactions, maintains accurate inventory audit, safety and compliance standards, and reports issues and concerns; Be a Talent Ambassador – Advocates brand, values member experience, models high quality service and influences co‑workers for team oriented work style.
What you’ll do Collaborate with team members, execute sales and service requests, educate associates, mentor new technicians, demonstrate safety compliance, operate point‑of‑sale systems, leverage digital tools to improve sales and service experience, communicate equipment and supplies needs, lead tracking and monitoring returns and special orders, manage cash register transactions, maintain accurate inventory audit, report safety hazards, and act with integrity and customer focus.
Minimum Qualifications Valid state‑issued driver’s license. 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications Auto service industry experience. Retail experience.
Salary and Benefits The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
