Senior Semiconductor Industry Hi-Tech Consulting - End-to-End Value Chain & GenAI, Advisory The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an exceptional Semiconductor Industry Hi-Tech Consultant to drive innovation and transformation across the entire semiconductor and fabrication value chain. In this vital role, you will leverage your deep, holistic expertise to help semiconductor companies accelerate their business outcomes. As a Senior Consultant, you will partner closely with C‑suite executives and technology leaders to assess their current state, identify opportunities for improvement, and craft tailored strategies and solutions. Drawing upon your comprehensive knowledge of the semiconductor industry, you will be a trusted advisor on cloud architectures, electronic design automation (EDA) tools and processes, advanced manufacturing techniques, and end‑to‑end digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic partner to semiconductor companies, guiding them through complex challenges across the value chain.

Conduct in‑depth assessments of customers’ cloud, EDA, manufacturing, and digital transformation capabilities.

Architect innovative solutions that optimize performance, efficiency, and agility from chip design to fabrication and delivery.

Develop comprehensive transformation roadmaps and implementation plans to future‑proof semiconductor operations.

Thought leadership on the use of GenAI to accelerate the design to fabrication process.

Leverage AWS cloud services, tools, and best practices to enable the semiconductor industry’s digital future.

Stay at the forefront of emerging semiconductor technologies, tools, and industry trends.

Foster strong, collaborative relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels.

Mentor and develop junior team members to grow the firm’s semiconductor industry expertise.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering, or 7+ years of practical semiconductor design work including full‑chip and subsystem integration experience.

4+ years of professional work experience, or experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.

Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.

Extensive knowledge of EDA tools, workflows, and best practices for chip design and verification.

Proficiency in advanced semiconductor manufacturing optimization techniques, including Industry 4.0 and smart factory principles.

Experience leading large‑scale digital transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.

MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, processes, technologies and key suppliers.

5+ years of industrial controls and automation experience.

Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.

Familiarity with CHIPS Act requirements and compliance.

Background in clean room operations and fab environments.

Benefits & Compensation Base pay ranges from $138,200 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
