Location: Kentucky Branch Office - Remote work from home (preferably living close to Lexington, KY branch office).
Salary range: $61,892.00 - $98,865.00. This national range may vary based on actual level and other factors. The position may be eligible for an annual bonus.

Position Summary Exercises independent discretion and judgement in claims handling involving complex liability issues, to include coverage issues and severe injury claims.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct investigations, evaluate and make recommendations regarding coverage and liability.
Handle claims involving complex liability, damages or coverages.
Negotiate with all parties, or their representatives, within designated authority.
Document the file and submit reports.
Identify subrogation opportunities and initiate appropriate action.
Complete required training.
Provide support for property claims during periods of heavy volume.
Train and mentor.
Travel for training may be required.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
Five years casualty claims adjusting experience or equivalent in medical or legal field required.
Broad knowledge and expertise in liability coverages, laws and injuries required.
Provide support for property claims during periods of heavy volume.
Travel for training may be required.
Designations and Licences
Valid driver's license required.
Completion of Associate in Claims (AIC) program preferred.
Physical Requirements
Lifting/Moving 0‑20 lbs occasionally.
Lifting/Moving 20‑50 lbs occasionally.
Ability to move over 50 lbs using lifting aid equipment occasionally.
Pushing/Pulling/moving objects or equipment with wheels occasionally.
Climbing/accessing heights rarely.
Driving occasionally.
Manual keying and data entry frequently (50‑80%).
