This role is remote and focuses on driving sales and building relationships with key decision-makers in K-12 schools and public libraries within Michigan. Identifying new sales opportunities: research and leverage industry tools to discover potential leads within K-12 school districts and public libraries. Connecting with key decision-makers: build relationships with Superintendents, Principals, Architects, Designers, Owners Representatives, Library Directors, and other stakeholders to understand needs and challenges. Developing sales leads: cultivate opportunities for evolving learning environments (furniture, supplies, equipment, etc.) and assess client requirements. Transitioning leads to the internal sales team: partner with the internal sales team for closing and provide ongoing support during the project. Team selling: collaborate with the Inside Sales Specialist for territory strategies to maximize potential. Remote collaboration: work from home while staying connected with the team and meeting sales goals. Travel: after initial onsite training, travel 3-4 days per week within the territory to visit educational institutions, with occasional overnight travel. Networking and learning: attend conferences, conventions, trade shows, and other K-12 events as needed to expand knowledge and network. Leveraging K-12 associations: identify associations to increase exposure through marketing opportunities and events. Qualifications

Strong relationships and experience with K-12 education markets 3-5 years in a hunting sales role with a proven track record Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field, or equivalent work experience Familiarity with learning environments, furniture, and supplies Self-starter with the ability to work remotely and manage time effectively Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000, with a variable uncapped commission plan that pays up to $30,000 at quota, and comprehensive benefits. Job Details
