We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Card Test Lead and Test Engineer
to join our team in Cincinnati. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the
Cards & Payments domain , particularly in
credit card platforms , and will lead testing efforts for
credit card migration projects . This role demands strong leadership, domain knowledge, and hands‑on experience with card processing systems like
TSYS-TS2 .
Key Skills & Domain Expertise:
Extensive experience in
Cards & Payments , with a focus on
credit card platforms .
Strong understanding of
card lifecycle functionalities :
Card origination
Product changes
Payment allocation
Fees and financial charges
Hands‑on experience with
TSYS-TS2
or similar platforms.
Proven success in
credit card migration testing , including
data validation
and
reconciliation .
Familiarity with
payment networks
(Visa, MasterCard, etc.) and
transaction processing flows .
Lead and manage end‑to‑end testing for
credit card migration projects .
Define and execute
test strategies
across
functional ,
regression , and
UAT
phases.
Collaborate with
business analysts ,
developers , and
third‑party vendors
to ensure complete test coverage.
Validate critical card processes:
issuance ,
authorization ,
transaction posting , and
settlement .
Oversee
defect management : triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
Ensure compliance with
PCI‑DSS
and other relevant standards.
Maintain detailed documentation:
test plans ,
test cases ,
execution reports , and
defect logs .
Tools & Communication:
Proficient in
JIRA ,
HP ALM , or equivalent test management tools.
Strong
communication ,
reporting , and
stakeholder management
skills.
Ability to
mentor junior testers
and
guide offshore teams
to ensure quality and consistency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
7+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on
Cards & Payments .
Prior experience in
leading testing teams
and
migration projects
is highly desirable.
