Job Responsibilities
Assist with maintenance and repair of facility systems and equipment
Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks
Support compliance with
Life Safety Code
and skilled nursing facility regulations
Maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, alarm, and life safety systems
Repair and maintain appliances, washers, dryers, and commercial kitchen equipment
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and safety concerns
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Work collaboratively with leadership and department staff
Qualifications
Experience in maintenance, preferably in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting
Knowledge of
life safety and regulatory requirements
in skilled nursing facilities
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, alarm systems, and appliances
Strong time management and prioritization skills
TELS knowledge or certification preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation
Schedule
Full-time
On-call availability may be required
