Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Human Resources Labor Relations Generalist for their Toledo, OH location.
Responsibilities:
Interpretation and application of contracts and agreements
Management of compliance and investigatory processes within a union environment
Facilitation or participation in difficult interactions or situations, focusing on conflict resolution
Analyzing data and using data to make decisions
Behaviors of a successful Labor Relations Representative
Customer focus mindset, always striving to provide the best support to the employees, management, and the union, while ensuring the continued sustainability of Client
Focus on building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders (management and union) through open and transparent communication
Openness to the viewpoints of others and taking those viewpoints into account when making business decisions or recommendations
Attention to detail and consistent follow through
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or related field
Proficient with Microsoft Suite
2+ years of experience in Human Resources with an emphasis in labor relations in a manufacturing setting
Knowledge of Human Resources Information System and reporting tools
Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
