Job Summary The Engagement Specialist provides focused support to individuals who may be hesitant to enroll in crisis services and are on CBI premises. They share their experience, strength, and hope with individuals, families, and significant others, minimizing emotional impact of crisis, inpatient and residential admissions, and the likelihood of continued alcohol or other drug use. The engagement specialist supports unit staff, completes intake documents as needed, and works as part of a multi‑disciplinary team including an Operations Supervisor, Nurse Supervisor, RN, PCT, BHC, PSS, and BHMP.
Skills / Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
Health care related experience with exposure to behavioral and medical crisis settings preferred but not required.
