Engagement Specialist Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient‑centered medical homes, medication‑assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

Job Summary The Engagement Specialist provides focused support to individuals who may be hesitant to enroll in crisis services and are on CBI premises. The specialist shares their experience, strength, and hope with individuals, families, and significant others presenting for care to minimize the emotional impact of crisis, inpatient, or residential admissions and reduce the likelihood of continued Alcohol or Other Drug (AOD) use. The role supports unit staff, completes intake documents as needed, and works as part of a multidisciplinary team including an Operation Supervisor, Nurse Supervisor, RN, PCT, BHC, PSS, and BHMP.

Skills / Requirements

High school diploma or GED required. Associate Degree or higher preferred.

Health care related experience that provides exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations is preferred but not required.
