Job Summary
The Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) Client Stabilization Specialist is a shelter or temporary lodging site-based role working with individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The role involves ensuring stabilization upon shelter entry, conducting intakes into HMIS, providing education on rules and resources, and offering overall orientation. Responsibilities include face-to-face visits, perimeter walks, and escalating issues affecting stabilization. The specialist communicates with leadership and coordinators on program violations and needs of individuals with complex substance use, mental health, housing, and medical needs. Data entry into established systems, including violations, shift notes, and room checks, is also required. Additionally, the role involves assessing the need for housing prioritization for individuals. Skills/Requirements
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required. 1-3 years of full-time healthcare-related experience preferred. Benefits
