Position Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of federal, and state income tax returns for individuals, trusts, foundations and operating business entities, extensions and estimated tax payments, including assembling and organizing data and analyzing book to tax differences, state apportionment and modification data, and preparation of returns and vouchers
Support tax planning projects including analysis, documentation, and presentation of conclusions
Team with the office of the family to accumulate tax information for tax return preparation and budgeting purposes
Liaise with outside accountants in the filing of federal, state and international tax returns
Assist with federal, state and local tax audits including performing tax research, summarizing data and drafting audit responses
Assist in responding to state and federal notices
Support and implement process and technology improvement initiatives within the Tax Department
Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 to 4 years of related experience or Associate's Degree and 6 plus years of experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree
