Join a stable, growing manufacturer in Auburn, NY as an Accounting Specialist supporting a high volume, fast-paced finance environment.
This is a full-time, onsite role, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a paid lunch. This position reports directly to the CFO and offers the opportunity to convert to a hired-on salaried position with approximately four weeks of combined PTO (vacation, holidays, and sick time).
What You Will Do
Own day to day accounting functions with a strong focus on Accounts Payable
(AP is currently handled by Supply Chain and will transition to this role).
Process a high volume of transactions accurately and on time.
Maintain reconciliations, records, and audit ready documentation.
Support general ledger work and month end tasks as assigned by the CFO and Controller.
Work in the company ERP (IQMS) to manage and track financial data.
Partner with finance, operations, and supply chain to resolve issues and keep information flowing smoothly.
What You Need
Strong Excel skills (sorting, filtering, pivot tables, lookups, and general data work are a must).
Experience in manufacturing or another high transaction environment strongly preferred.
Ability to quickly learn and use IQMS or a similar ERP system.
High attention to detail, strong accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
Professional communication, reliability, and comfort interacting with leadership.
Schedule and Pay
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (40 hours per week), paid lunch
Location: Onsite in Auburn, NY (five days per week; hybrid may be considered in the future)
Pay: $30 to $35 per hour, temp to hire
Benefits upon conversion: Approximately four weeks of combined PTO (vacation, holidays, and sick time)
