We at HCLTech seek to recruit experienced PreSales Architects to join our Hybrid Cloud Business Unit. In this role, you will join a skilled team of Solution Architects whose primary responsibility is to support our sales teams in developing best-in-class and innovative technology-centric solutions across the Data Center and Cloud portfolio. We are looking for candidates with proven experience in responding to RFP / RFIs, solution creation, client interactions and presentations, pricing, business case analysis, and deal lifecycle management. Base pay range

$160,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities

Solution Design: Develop and design robust infrastructure solutions that align with business goals and requirements. To collaborate with the key stakeholders across the Hybrid Cloud practice and Business Development Executives within HCL Technologies to effectively lead the aligned pre-sales engagements to success Own and drive the RFP process, including due diligence, solution presentation, pricing creation, internal stakeholder discussions, SoW support, and proposal submission. Candidate should be able to participate in deep technical discussions with customers with good presentation/articulation skills Demonstrate HCL Datacenter and Cloud capabilities Demonstrate architectural best practices across technologies to solve Client problems, articulate views/roadmaps for future infrastructure operations Architecture Strategy: Define and implement infrastructure architecture strategies, standards, and best practices. Project Management: Lead infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineering teams. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the infrastructure and develop mitigation strategies. Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our infrastructure remains cutting-edge. Documentation: Create detailed documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and processes. RFP and RFI Responses: Prepare and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI) by providing comprehensive infrastructure solutions and technical details. Strong knowledge in Datacenter technologies: Compute, virtualization, storage, backup, archive, software-defined DC, hyper-converged solutions (Key platforms include Nutanix, Cisco, DELL, VMware, NetApp Rubrik, Cohesity, Pure, etc.) Strong knowledge on Container technologies: AKS, EKS, GKE, Red hat OpenShift. Good understanding of Automation solutions like vCloud, vRealize, Terraform, Ansible. Good understanding of AI solution and technologies: VMware private AI, Nutanix AI, OpenShift AI, Nvidia, Opensource Llama etc. Good understanding on tools landscape such as ServiceNow, Datadog, SolarWinds, Splunk, Grafana, PowerBI etc Experience in designing solutions around DC Infrastructure Migration and Transformation Good knowledge of managed services concepts like IT Service Management, Agile practices, AIOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SREs), etc. Experience in providing consulting in cloud transformation journey for customers Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 10 to 15 years of experience in infrastructure architecture and solution design. Proven experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong knowledge of networking, storage, servers, and virtualization. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams. Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus. Language

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
