About the Role We are hiring a Personal Banker for our Floating Central PA team. This position floats among the Central PA Group’s financial centers, including Georgetown, Intercourse, Mechanicsburg, New Holland, Strasburg, Willow Street, and York. Mileage reimbursement is included. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining a personal portfolio of prospects and customers and delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities include profiling customers, cross‑selling products, referring customers to integrated platform, providing bank products, achieving sales standards, outbound sales calls, and servicing teller line transactions.

Responsibilities

Work branch hours: Monday–Thursday 8 am–5 pm; Friday 8 am–6 pm; Saturday 8 am–12 pm (required 2–3 times per month).

Perform teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately.

Adhere to all procedures, including operational and corporate customer service guidelines.

Operate required technology and supervise teller operations.

Maintain signing authority responsibilities.

Complete the Excel Level 1 course and the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program.

Identify customer needs and cross‑sell opportunities to develop new business.

Develop working relationships with integrated partners.

Proactively initiate sales conversations.

Participate and manage tele‑consulting efforts.

Develop knowledge of Univest products and services.

Leverage bank promotions.

Follow outlined sales flow.

Learn daily operational procedures and become proficient.

Actively participate in branch activities, development and training programs.

Manage and coach staff to desired performance levels.

Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and the Univest Code of Conduct.

Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalency.

Attention to detail and ability to prioritize.

Experience in retail sales or telemarketing with proven sales results.

Strong written, verbal and organizational skills.

Demonstrated leadership or supervisory ability.

Energetic and engaging interpersonal communication skills.

Previous experience with MS Office Suite.

Prior banking experience or completion of ABA Banking Basics suite.

Proficiency in daily operational procedures.

Completion of SSR Suite Training.

Complete notary training if applicable.

Professional appearance following company dress guidelines.

Complete the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program and the “Coaching for Performance Excellence” course.

Obtain NMLS registration.

Salary Range Starting salary: $25.00 per hour.
