Hospital Medicine - Medical Director

• 263 Acute Care Beds (incl. 38 ICU beds)
• Open ICU, no mandatory CC consult (27 ICU/11 PCU)
• EMR: Epic
• No required procedures
• Excellent collaboration between HM/EM - both managed by SCP Health
• Dedicated NP/PA Admitter

Staffing Model:

• 12-hour shifts, (8a-8p/8p-8a)
• 7on/7off schedule
• Days: 4 MDs & 2 NPs
• Nights: 1 MD

Physician Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
• Be within 7 years of graduation
• Or 2 years prior hospitalist experience

NP/PA Qualifications:

• Board Certified as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• 2 years prior hospitalist experience
