Hospital Medicine - Medical Director

• 87 Acute Care Beds (incl. 9 adj. beds ICU/PCU)
• Closed ICU, 7-8 ICU beds and Step Down
• Codes/Rapid Response handled by ED physicians
• EMR: Epic
• No required procedures
• GME programs

Staffing Model:

• 12-hour shift, (7a-7p, 7p-7a)
• 7 on/7off schedule
• Days: 2 MDs
• Nights: 1 MD on call (primary focus: on-call support for residents)

Physician Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
• Be within 7 years of graduation
• Or 2 years prior hospitalist experience

NP/PA Qualifications:

• Board Certified as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• 2 years prior hospitalist experience
