Join AAA‑The Auto Club Group as a Licensed Field Service Representative in Saginaw, MI. This role involves providing high‑level support to the insurance agency and members by servicing existing insurance accounts, making retention calls, processing applications, and promoting AAA membership and financial products.
Job Summary Full‑time, hourly position. Exempt/Non‑Exempt: Hourly. Responsibilities include performing retention calls, processing applications, renewals, and amendments; providing price quotes; taking payments; responding to inquiries; and cross‑selling membership and financial products. The role requires strong customer service and sales skills within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform retention calls and process applications, renewals, and amendments.
Provide price quotes on all insurance products while factoring underwriting rules and discounts.
Take insurance payments (initial, installment, lapse, or reinstatement).
Respond to customer inquiries and explain product features and service advantages.
Refer to agents or other lines of business when appropriate.
Identify cross‑sale opportunities during policy changes and process endorsements.
Conduct outbound promotional and retention calls per management requests.
Participate in events that generate insurance revenue and promote membership awareness.
Maintain filing systems and update electronic member information.
Required Qualifications
Current Property & Casualty Insurance license.
Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses for selling and/or servicing AAA membership products.
Successful completion of Customer Service, Insurance and Membership training within 6 months of hire.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
Customer‑focused service experience.
Experience servicing insurance policies and processing applications, renewals, and amendments.
Billing and coverage question handling.
Monetary transaction processing.
Promotion of insurance products using established guidelines.
Clear communication of complex information.
Knowledge & Skills
Analyze member insurance needs and determine coverage levels.
Prepare rate quotations.
Plan and promote sales of ACG insurance and membership products.
Perform outbound service calls.
Maintain accurate records.
Understanding of insurance terminology, regulations, underwriting procedures, and compliance guidelines.
Proficiency with insurance and membership systems (PPS, POS, IMS, IPM).
Team player with strong independent work capability.
Professional demeanor and customer service excellence.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Mathematical calculation skills for monetary transactions.
Ability to work under pressure in a high‑volume environment.
Completion of all ACG training programs.
Work Environment Temperature‑controlled office; willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, and community events.
